About QuickPixelEdits
We install image editors, push them through real edits, time the crops, and rate the polish. Every score on this site starts with a stopwatch and an actual photo — not a feature list.
How the bench works
$ open editor $ start timer $ make the edit $ stop, score, ship
That sequence runs for every editor we cover. We pay for the plans, set up the accounts the way a real user would, and only then start the clock. Marketing copy doesn't get reused; if we didn't run a real client job through the tool, it doesn't get a number on this page.
What we score
- Speed — how fast you get from open to export on a routine edit.
- Polish — how clean the result is when you stop pushing pixels.
- Hold-up — how the file behaves once it leaves the editor: print, web, batch, re-edit.
What's on the bench right now
Start with the full reviews and head-to-head matchups, the FAQ for quick answers on pricing and features, or the glossary when a term in a review needs a definition. If you're new to the category, the 101 explainer and the walkthrough are the right entry points.
How we make money
Some outbound links on review and comparison pages are affiliate links — if you click through and buy, the editor's vendor pays us a small commission. It costs you nothing extra and it doesn't change the scores. We rank what works; the link is just where you go after.
